Ravi Ravindran, a native of Singapore, brings over 35 years of distinguished legal experience to Nexlaw. Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales since 1990 and registered as a Legal Consultant in Dubai since 2016, Ravi's career spans multiple jurisdictions and practice areas. Served 2½ years national service with the Republic of Singapore Navy.
Before founding Nexlaw, Ravi served as Senior Claims Executive with a major P&I Club manager in London (1990-1995), Senior Legal Adviser with Cable & Wireless Marine Ltd., in Chelmsford, England, where he developed expertise in maritime, commodities, submarine telecom and sub-sea engineering contractual matters and corporate and cross-border commercial transactions. Today (due to age!!), he leverages this extensive hands-on experience to provide high-level strategic advisory services for marine casualty management. His unique insights - gained from decades of direct involvement across diverse casualty scenarios - enable Clients to benefit from seasoned judgment and proven crisis management strategies while working with their implementation teams to navigate these complex situations effectively.
